From 1985 to 1999, Mary was the headteacher of the Convent of Jesus and Mary Language College in Brent. In 1999 she was asked to join HSBC to set up, and be Chief Executive of, HSBC Global Education Trust, at a time when HSBC operated in 81 countries and territories.

She is also a political columnist for The Fintech Times Newspaper and Disrupts publications..
Ty Goddard is Director and Co-Founder of The Education Foundation and Edtech UK – a strategic body focused on accelerating the edtech sector in the UK and globally. A respected writer and adviser, he is recognised as one of the UK’s leading experts on education reform.
Neil Carmichael represented Stroud as a Member of Parliament from 2010 to 2017, and served on the Education Select Committee throughout that period, latterly as Chair.
