Merrill Powell has had a twenty-year career in television, presenting and producing. She appeared on both UK and satellite channels. She is multilingual and has lived in several countries. A voluntary charity fundraiser over many years, she chairs Hospice UK London Fundraising Committee and the HUK Development board. She is committed to fundraising which has included serving as National Vice President of Imperial Cancer Research, chair of the Dorchester Fashion lunch and creating and launching the Coming Home Peace candle, supporting our wounded service men and women. She has been a coach for Women2Win since it was founded in 2005. Many women she has worked with have won seats and now sit in the House of Commons. Merrill mentors and teaches public speaking and presentation, believing that connecting with people and the ability to successfully communicate ideas lie at the beginning of any career, and that these skills can be learnt and will provide life skills for the future.
