The causes of modern poverty are well documented in homelessness, educational failure, worklessness, drug and alcohol addiction, indebtedness, and family breakdown. If someone finds themselves in 1 of these, they are at great risk of joining the bottom 20% in our society, but if they have 2 of them, they are probably already there. We must all be a part of a national, shared endeavour to succeed to generate economic and prosperity.”
